Description
Job Purpose
The purpose is to develop and maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property.
Job Overview
As a Security Patrol Officer, you will be working with the local authority providing a highly-visible presence, conducting outdoor foot patrols surveying for a variety of environmental and anti-social issues. You will interact with members of the public, issue fixed penalty notices when necessary, and report incidents that could result in prosecution.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Regular patrols check calls and maintain logs of any incidents.
- Work outdoors, interact with members of the public and have the capacity to act with integrity and honesty while treating people with respect in challenging situations
Requirments
- A valid SIA licence - Frontline Door Supervisor Licence
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to interpret and explain bylaws, policies, and regulations
- Good level of physical fitness to remain active
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy and demanding environment
